TO:  CTRU/GCRC and SPCTRM Research Clinic Users

RE:  newNew CTRU Research Clinic Policy on Room Reservations for the former SPCTRM Clinic Research Room

1.   Effective January 1, 2009, the Clinical and Translational Research Unit (CTRU), also known as the General Clinical Research Center (GCRC), will incorporate and assume responsibility for scheduling of the former SPCTRM Research Clinic Room (HH104). This room in located on the CTRU/GCRC on the first floor of Stanford Hospital and Clinics.

2.  All clinic users must complete the brief CTRU/GCRC application (see attached or go to the website at http://sccter.stanford.edu/services/ctru.html) before the space can be scheduled. CTRU staff will be available to assist first-time applicants with this form. Please make a note on the application if you were a past user of the old SPCTRM Research Clinic.

3.  The completed application will be administratively reviewed for resource availability by the CTRU/GCRC staff and if feasible, given an active CTRU/GCRC protocol number.  You will be contacted with availability within one week of the received completed application. 

4.  Once CTRU/GCRC administrative staff approves the application, the room can be scheduled per CTRU/GCRC scheduling guidelines (please call 723-6713 for scheduling instructions).
