For new research nurses, research coordinators and other research personnel in the School of Medicine
- Budgeting and Billing Training *
A general overview of the Clinical Research Budgeting and Billing Process.
- Orientation to the SPCTRM Research Clinic *
required for investigators and research staff members prior to scheduling the SPCTRM clinic for a study patient visit. It covers standard operating procedures when using the SPCTRM clinic.
Training Resources:
- Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers - Certification and Recertification (CPR Certification)
- HIPAA Training - HR or Department Administrator should instruct you as to what levels of training are required.
- HIPAA Training Level Guide - HR or Department Administrator should instruct you as to what levels of training are required.
- Collaborative IRB Training Initiative (CITI) required by all Stanford researchers who work with human subjects.
- Health & Safety Course Advisor (EH&S) This document is designed to help identify appropriate safety training for Stanford staff, faculty and students. Trainees should complete this form and discuss the results with their Supervisor.
GCP Training (CITI) If you are new to research or just need a refresher course, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines are now available on-line, although not required at this time, through IRB's CITI Program.
- Safe Shipping of Biohazardous Materials certification is available through Environmental Health and Safety (for research personnel who pack and ship research specimens on dry ice)
